About Eaorine Request

What we like about Eaorine Request is how little it tries to be everything — it does 7ntypes, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf. The designer behind it is Ade (7NTypes). Only 21 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence.

Put it to work on americana fonts first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.

The words on the listing are bold serif fonts, branding fonts, classic fonts and country fonts, and they are worth reading as a description rather than as tags. If none of this quite fits, the adjacent requests are display, poster, headline, vintage and retro and they stay on this page. Put next to the usual requests here — vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts — this one covers the plain version of the job, which is the version people need most often. We filed it under Display and Poster Fonts for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end.

How to use this font

  1. Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
  2. Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
  3. Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
  4. Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
