About Dominate
We put Dominate on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf because album font is the kind of thing people come here looking for, and this one answers it without a detour. It comes from BILLI. It has gone unnoticed so far. We found it worth shelving anyway. Unreviewed so far — read that as untested rather than as a verdict.
Our own plan for it is alternative font, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. A display font only has to work big, so we judge it at poster size and ignore how it looks in a paragraph — that is not its job. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether album font was the description or the aspiration.
If you came in looking for apparel font, blackletter, blackletter font and blackletter typography, you are in the right place — the listing carries all of those, which is the clearest sign the designer built it for that job rather than retitled it afterwards. The searches that bring people to this shelf are vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it. People after this usually search display, poster, headline, vintage and retro too, and the shelf is sorted so those all land in the same place. On this site it lives on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing display and poster fonts rather than searching for it by name.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
