About Desolosed
This is the one we reach for when the request is abyssal script. Desolosed keeps it simple, which is why it sits here rather than in the reserve pile. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist. It comes from Vozzy Vintage Fonts And Graphics. The save count is still small at 22, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.
A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. If you want one use for it, take abyssal typography: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.
The words on the listing are chaotic script, chaotic symbols, cryptic lettering and cryptic symbols, and they are worth reading as a description rather than as tags. What this shelf gets asked for is vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts. That list is why these files are here and not some prettier ones. Nearby you will see display, poster, headline, vintage and retro, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. We filed it under Display and Poster Fonts for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
