About Dark
Dark stayed on the shelf for the dull reason that it works. We would rather have one of these than three fonts with ideas of their own. The save count is still small at 77, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. Latin Vibes made it. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist.
We would keep it for the project where a font has to work on the first try. A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
