About Crovella
Crovella is our beauty branding pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. Colourful made it. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. 5 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up.
Check the capitals and the spacing between them — display type lives or dies on how a short word in caps sits together. We keep it filed mentally under beauty font, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.
It answers to boutique font, branding font, classic font and cosmetic font, and that spread of wording is worth noting: a file tagged this consistently usually behaves the way the preview suggests. We track what people actually type before they land here: vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts. If that is roughly what you were after, this font is in the right family. We filed it under Display and Poster Fonts for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end. People after this usually search display, poster, headline, vintage and retro too, and the shelf is sorted so those all land in the same place.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
