About Cosmic Echoes
Cosmic Echoes is our 2000s font pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. Only 11 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. The designer behind it is attypestudio.
Check the capitals and the spacing between them — display type lives or dies on how a short word in caps sits together. We keep it filed mentally under 90s font, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
