About Cookie Santa
What we like about Cookie Santa is how little it tries to be everything — it does bold, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist. 29Graphic is the name on the listing. With 1 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size.
A display font only has to work big, so we judge it at poster size and ignore how it looks in a paragraph — that is not its job. If you want one use for it, take branding: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
Type bold font, candy cane, celebration and cheerful into the search above and this one comes back — the same font under four different habits of phrasing. Judged against the requests we see — vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts — this is a middle-of-the-road answer, and middle of the road is usually what the job needs. If none of this quite fits, the adjacent requests are display, poster, headline, vintage and retro and they stay on this page. Its home here is Display and Poster Fonts — open that shelf if you would rather compare a few before choosing.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
