About Classic Ribbon
What we like about Classic Ribbon is how little it tries to be everything — it does 90s font, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf. putracetol is the name on the listing. Only 31 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. 5.0 out of 5 from 1 review — a small sample, but it is the sample there is.
The obvious job for it is best font, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. A display font only has to work big, so we judge it at poster size and ignore how it looks in a paragraph — that is not its job. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
