About Cane
This is the one we reach for when the request is 70s retro font. Cane keeps it simple, which is why it sits here rather than in the reserve pile. Only 1 person has saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. It comes from LINEART3. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist.
We would use it the way the listing hints — blog banner — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
