About Calluna
Calluna earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to adobe illustrator, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. It is quiet on saves so far, so take this as our opinion rather than the crowd's. The designer behind it is LINEART3.
If you want one use for it, take botanical display font: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. A display font only has to work big, so we judge it at poster size and ignore how it looks in a paragraph — that is not its job. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.
The listing files it under calluna font, craft font, craft svg font and cricut nature font — those are the words it gets found by, and between them they describe the file better than any category name does. On this site it lives on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing display and poster fonts rather than searching for it by name. The wording people arrive with is vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid. Nearby you will see poster, headline, vintage, retro and slab, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
