About California Diamond
Ask for beachy logo font and you get a hundred near-misses; California Diamond is one of the few that answers the question as asked. Credit goes to MaxArt. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one. The save count is still small at 4, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.
A display font only has to work big, so we judge it at poster size and ignore how it looks in a paragraph — that is not its job. The obvious job for it is beauty font, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether beachy logo font is really what you are getting.
It answers to bold font, bold sans and script, bold script and bundle font, and that spread of wording is worth noting: a file tagged this consistently usually behaves the way the preview suggests. The same shelf also answers to display, poster, headline, vintage and retro, so widen the search there before giving up on it. We keep it under Display and Poster Fonts, which is where to look if you want the rest of the display and poster fonts we have gone through. Put next to the usual requests here — vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts — this one covers the plain version of the job, which is the version people need most often.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
