About Bullet

Bullet earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to antique, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. Credit goes to OWPictures. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist. 1 save means nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up.

A display font only has to work big, so we judge it at poster size and ignore how it looks in a paragraph — that is not its job. The obvious job for it is bandit, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.

If you came in looking for bold, branding, classic and country, you are in the right place — the listing carries all of those, which is the clearest sign the designer built it for that job rather than retitled it afterwards. Related wording on the shelf: display, poster, headline, vintage and retro. Same shelf, different phrasing, and the sort options above work across all of it. We keep it under Display and Poster Fonts, which is where to look if you want the rest of the display and poster fonts we have gone through. The searches that bring people to this shelf are vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it.

How to use this font

  1. Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
  2. Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
  3. Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
  4. Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
