About Bubbly Bit
Ask for 8bit and you get a hundred near-misses; Bubbly Bit is one of the few that answers the question as asked. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist. snapedsgn made it. Only 23 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's.
The obvious job for it is arcade, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. A display font only has to work big, so we judge it at poster size and ignore how it looks in a paragraph — that is not its job. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.
The listing files it under bitmap, display and font — those are the words it gets found by, and between them they describe the file better than any category name does. What this shelf gets asked for is vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts. That list is why these files are here and not some prettier ones. The same shelf also answers to poster, headline, vintage, retro and slab, so widen the search there before giving up on it. On this site it lives on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing display and poster fonts rather than searching for it by name.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
