About Bronzewick
Most of what turns up under cowboy font needs work before it is usable. Bronzewick is the version that does not. The designer behind it is Colourful. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist. With 62 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size.
We keep it filed mentally under decorative font, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.
Search for engraved font, old west font, ranch font and retro font and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same font, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. What this shelf gets asked for is vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts. That list is why these files are here and not some prettier ones. We filed it under Display and Poster Fonts for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end. Nearby you will see display, poster, headline, vintage and slab, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
