About Box Grinches
We put Box Grinches on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf because christmas is the kind of thing people come here looking for, and this one answers it without a detour. Only 43 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. The designer behind it is Densu Creative. It stands at 5.0 out of 5 across 2 reviews, and we read the low scores first when there are any.
It is the sort of font we keep around for the job that cannot wait for a redraw. Check the capitals and the spacing between them — display type lives or dies on how a short word in caps sits together. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether christmas was the description or the aspiration.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
