About Blast Dragon
Blast Dragon earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to action, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. It sits at 37 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it. The designer behind it is Sharkshock. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence.
If you want one use for it, take adventure: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.
The listing files it under action graphics, aggressive font, all caps and angular design — those are the words it gets found by, and between them they describe the file better than any category name does. The wording people arrive with is vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid. The neighbouring searches are display, poster, headline, vintage and retro — worth a look if this particular font is close but not quite it. You will find it among the display and poster fonts, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
