About Bigday Christmas
What we like about Bigday Christmas is how little it tries to be everything — it does beauty font, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf. Only 6 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one. It comes from Misterletter.co.
A display face has one job: be read big. We judge it at poster size and ignore how it behaves in a paragraph, because it will never be in one. Put it to work on bold font first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
