About Belgot
Belgot is our artistic typeface pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. The designer behind it is ekahermawan. The save count is still small at 2, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.
A display font only has to work big, so we judge it at poster size and ignore how it looks in a paragraph — that is not its job. Put it to work on bold serif first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether artistic typeface was the description or the aspiration.
It answers to branding font, creative font, display font and elegant font, and that spread of wording is worth noting: a file tagged this consistently usually behaves the way the preview suggests. Judged against the requests we see — vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts — this is a middle-of-the-road answer, and middle of the road is usually what the job needs. If none of this quite fits, the adjacent requests are poster, headline, vintage, retro and slab and they stay on this page. You will find it among the display and poster fonts, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
