About Apple II
What we like about Apple II is how little it tries to be everything — it does art, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Display and Poster Fonts shelf. It comes from FontCastle. With 71 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence.
We keep it filed mentally under background, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. A display font only has to work big, so we judge it at poster size and ignore how it looks in a paragraph — that is not its job. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether art is really what you are getting.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
