About Academy College
Academy College earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to academy font, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. The designer behind it is mardanimirza12. Only 12 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's.
Put it to work on american sports font first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. A display font only has to work big, so we judge it at poster size and ignore how it looks in a paragraph — that is not its job. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether academy font was the description or the aspiration.
The words on the listing are athletic font, athletic typography, baseball font and basketball font, and they are worth reading as a description rather than as tags. It is shelved with the rest of the display and poster fonts, and that is the quickest way to see what else sits in the same register before you settle on this one. If none of this quite fits, the adjacent requests are display, poster, headline, vintage and retro and they stay on this page. Put next to the usual requests here — vintage fonts commercial license, display fonts, vintage fonts canva, number fonts vintage and retro canva fonts — this one covers the plain version of the job, which is the version people need most often.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
