About Yvonne

The reason Yvonne is here is artistic font and nothing else. It does not try to cover the next three jobs along, and we would rather it did not. Raholco made it. 5.0 out of 5 from 1 review — a small sample, but it is the sample there is. The save count is still small at 21, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.

A decorative face carries one word, maybe two. If you are tempted to set a whole headline in it, set it in the preview first and see what happens. Put it to work on blackletter script first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.

If you came in looking for bold font, branding font, canva font and commercial use, you are in the right place — the listing carries all of those, which is the clearest sign the designer built it for that job rather than retitled it afterwards. On this site it lives on the Decorative and Dingbat Fonts shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing decorative and dingbat fonts rather than searching for it by name. What this shelf gets asked for is blackletter font pairing, cinzel decorative font pairing, decorative script fonts, modern blackletter fonts and monogram fonts for cricut. That list is why these files are here and not some prettier ones. Nearby you will see decorative, dingbat, colorful, colour and ornament, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite.

How to use this font

  1. Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
  2. Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
  3. Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
  4. Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
