About Techpixs
Techpixs earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to 8bit, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. The save count is still small at 12, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one. The designer behind it is snapedsgn.
If you want one use for it, take arcade: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. A decorative face carries one word, maybe two. If you are tempted to set a whole headline in it, set it in the preview first and see what happens. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether 8bit is really what you are getting.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
