About Suterayne

If album font is what you came for, start here — Suterayne is the plainest reading of that request on the Decorative and Dingbat Fonts shelf. The save count is still small at 5, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. Buyers put it at 5.0 out of 5 over 1 review; worth clicking through to see what they actually said. The designer behind it is BILLI.

If you want one use for it, take alternative font: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. Check which characters really exist: decorative sets often stop at the capitals, and you find out when you need an ampersand. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether album font is really what you are getting.

Search for apparel font, band font, blackletter and blackletter font and this is the file those words land on; they are all the same font, filed under whichever phrase you happened to type. Most of the traffic on this shelf comes in on blackletter font pairing, cinzel decorative font pairing, decorative script fonts, modern blackletter fonts and monogram fonts for cricut, and we picked the files on it with those requests in mind rather than by browsing prettiest-first. We filed it under Decorative and Dingbat Fonts for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end. People after this usually search decorative, dingbat, colorful, colour and ornament too, and the shelf is sorted so those all land in the same place.

How to use this font

  1. Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
  2. Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
  3. Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
  4. Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
