About St. Patty Shine
What we like about St. Patty Shine is how little it tries to be everything — it does color font, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Decorative and Dingbat Fonts shelf. Credit goes to Illustration Ink. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one. Only 4 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's.
We keep it filed mentally under floral, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. Check which characters really exist: decorative sets often stop at the capitals, and you find out when you need an ampersand. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether color font was the description or the aspiration.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
