About Spirit Moon
Spirit Moon earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to art fonts black fonts, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. 5.0 out of 5 from 2 reviews — a small sample, but it is the sample there is. Nongyao made it. The save count is still small at 44, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.
A decorative face carries one word, maybe two. If you are tempted to set a whole headline in it, set it in the preview first and see what happens. If you want one use for it, take baby fonts: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.
Filed as background fonts, banner fonts, basic fonts and calligraphy fonts. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. Put next to the usual requests here — blackletter font pairing, cinzel decorative font pairing, decorative script fonts, modern blackletter fonts and monogram fonts for cricut — this one covers the plain version of the job, which is the version people need most often. If none of this quite fits, the adjacent requests are decorative, dingbat, blackletter, colorful and colour and they stay on this page. It is shelved with the rest of the decorative and dingbat fonts, and that is the quickest way to see what else sits in the same register before you settle on this one.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
