About Shengxio Kids
Shengxio Kids earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to alternative baby clothing font, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. It is Illustration Ink's work. The save count is still small at 4, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. It stands at 5.0 out of 5 across 1 review, and we read the low scores first when there are any.
We would use it the way the listing hints — asia — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. A decorative face carries one word, maybe two. If you are tempted to set a whole headline in it, set it in the preview first and see what happens. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.
If you came in looking for candy theme packaging, canva font, china and chinese, you are in the right place — the listing carries all of those, which is the clearest sign the designer built it for that job rather than retitled it afterwards. The searches that bring people to this shelf are blackletter font pairing, cinzel decorative font pairing, decorative script fonts, modern blackletter fonts and monogram fonts for cricut — this one sits in the middle of that group rather than off to the side of it. The same shelf also answers to decorative, dingbat, blackletter, colorful and colour, so widen the search there before giving up on it. On this site it lives on the Decorative and Dingbat Fonts shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing decorative and dingbat fonts rather than searching for it by name.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
