About Samhain
What we like about Samhain is how little it tries to be everything — it does apparition, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Decorative and Dingbat Fonts shelf. It is The Tenacious Type Studio's work. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. It sits at 30 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it.
Check which characters really exist: decorative sets often stop at the capitals, and you find out when you need an ampersand. Put it to work on autumn first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether apparition is really what you are getting.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
