About Roar Guroes
Roar Guroes earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to birthday invitation font, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. It comes from imoodev. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. 15 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up.
A decorative face carries one word, maybe two. If you are tempted to set a whole headline in it, set it in the preview first and see what happens. Put it to work on bold first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.
Filed as bold font, book, cartoon and cartoon font. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. It is shelved with the rest of the decorative and dingbat fonts, and that is the quickest way to see what else sits in the same register before you settle on this one. The wording people arrive with is blackletter font pairing, cinzel decorative font pairing, decorative script fonts, modern blackletter fonts and monogram fonts for cricut, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid. Nearby you will see decorative, dingbat, blackletter, colorful and colour, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
