About Ribbon Border
We put Ribbon Border on the Decorative and Dingbat Fonts shelf because art fonts black fonts is the kind of thing people come here looking for, and this one answers it without a detour. Nobody has reviewed it, which we do not hold against a new file — but it does mean the preview is the only honest evidence. Sontaya made it. It sits at 25 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it.
A decorative face carries one word, maybe two. If you are tempted to set a whole headline in it, set it in the preview first and see what happens. We keep it filed mentally under baby fonts, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
