About Retro Fire
Retro Fire earned its place here for one reason: it is a straight answer to adobe fonts, and straight answers are rarer in this font catalogue than you would think. Credit goes to KtwoP. The save count is still small at 50, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. The listing shows 5.0 out of 5 on 1 review, which is better evidence than the thumbnail.
A decorative face carries one word, maybe two. Set the headline you actually want in the preview before deciding it carries more. We would use it the way the listing hints — animal font — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every font on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
