About Pumpkin Halloween
This is the one we reach for when the request is affinity designer font. Pumpkin Halloween keeps it simple, which is why it sits here rather than in the reserve pile. It sits at 25 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it. The designer behind it is Sirinart. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist.
Check which characters really exist: decorative sets often stop at the capitals, and you find out when you need an ampersand. Our own plan for it is affinity font, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
