About Movie Night Scary Dingbats
What we like about Movie Night Scary Dingbats is how little it tries to be everything — it does creepy movie font, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Decorative and Dingbat Fonts shelf. Illustration Ink made it. Only 21 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's. No reviews either way, so the preview is doing all the work on this one.
Our own plan for it is cricut, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. A decorative face carries one word, maybe two. If you are tempted to set a whole headline in it, set it in the preview first and see what happens. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether creepy movie font was the description or the aspiration.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
