About Mixy Rainbow
This is the one we reach for when the request is color font. Mixy Rainbow keeps it simple, which is why it sits here rather than in the reserve pile. There are no reviews on it yet, so judge it by the preview and not by a score that does not exist. Illustration Ink is the name on the listing. It sits at 14 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it.
A decorative face carries one word, maybe two. If you are tempted to set a whole headline in it, set it in the preview first and see what happens. If you want one use for it, take font mix: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
