About Minnie Heart Y-p
What we like about Minnie Heart Y-p is how little it tries to be everything — it does aesthetic font, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Decorative and Dingbat Fonts shelf. The save count is still small at 27, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. The designer behind it is keng graphic. Buyers put it at 5.0 out of 5 over 1 review; worth clicking through to see what they actually said.
We keep it filed mentally under beach font, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. A decorative face carries one word, maybe two. If you are tempted to set a whole headline in it, set it in the preview first and see what happens. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
