About Mahardhika
What we like about Mahardhika is how little it tries to be everything — it does beauty font, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Decorative and Dingbat Fonts shelf. 5.0 out of 5 from 1 review — a small sample, but it is the sample there is. InDhika made it. With 44 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size.
We would use it the way the listing hints — brand — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. A decorative face carries one word, maybe two. If you are tempted to set a whole headline in it, set it in the preview first and see what happens. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every font on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
