About Magic
What we like about Magic is how little it tries to be everything — it does affinity designer font, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Decorative and Dingbat Fonts shelf. A decorative face carries one word, maybe two. Set the headline you actually want in the preview before deciding it carries more. If you want one use for it, take affinity font: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether affinity designer font was the description or the aspiration.
Filed as affinity photo font, alchemy, amulet and art. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. You will find it among the decorative and dingbat fonts, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job. The neighbouring searches are decorative, dingbat, blackletter, colorful and colour — worth a look if this particular font is close but not quite it. We track what people actually type before they land here: blackletter font pairing, cinzel decorative font pairing, decorative script fonts, modern blackletter fonts and monogram fonts for cricut. If that is roughly what you were after, this font is in the right family.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
