About Grimvale
Most of what turns up under album cover font needs work before it is usable. Grimvale is the version that does not. BILLI is the name on the listing. Buyers put it at 5.0 out of 5 over 1 review; worth clicking through to see what they actually said. With 4 saves it has barely been seen, and that is neither a good nor a bad sign on a catalogue this size.
Our own plan for it is antique font, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. A decorative face carries one word, maybe two. Set the headline you actually want in the preview before deciding it carries more. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether album cover font was the description or the aspiration.
Filed as apparel font, blackletter font, black metal font and book cover font. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. It is shelved with the rest of the decorative and dingbat fonts, and that is the quickest way to see what else sits in the same register before you settle on this one. We track what people actually type before they land here: blackletter font pairing, cinzel decorative font pairing, decorative script fonts, modern blackletter fonts and monogram fonts for cricut. If that is roughly what you were after, this font is in the right family. The same shelf also answers to decorative, dingbat, colorful, colour and ornament, so widen the search there before giving up on it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
