About Gaiden
Ask for blackletter and you get a hundred near-misses; Gaiden is one of the few that answers the question as asked. It sits at 1 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it. The designer behind it is Font Liner. 5.0 out of 5 from 1 review — a small sample, but it is the sample there is.
We would use it the way the listing hints — branding — and that is also where we would start if you are trying it for the first time. Check which characters really exist: decorative sets often stop at the capitals, and you find out when you need an ampersand. The licence tab and the full-size preview are the whole of our due diligence here, and they take about a minute between them.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
