About Forlan Tattoo
Most of what turns up under bold blackletter typeface needs work before it is usable. Forlan Tattoo is the version that does not. 63 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. Creative Fabrica Fonts made it. It stands at 5.0 out of 5 across 1 review, and we read the low scores first when there are any.
A decorative face carries one word, maybe two. If you are tempted to set a whole headline in it, set it in the preview first and see what happens. If you want one use for it, take bold decorative font: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether bold blackletter typeface is really what you are getting.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
