About Ever Scary
What we like about Ever Scary is how little it tries to be everything — it does bleed, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Decorative and Dingbat Fonts shelf. The review tab is empty. That is normal here and not a warning, but it does put the preview in charge. 55 saves mean nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. It is Illustration Ink's work.
Our own plan for it is blood, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. Check which characters really exist: decorative sets often stop at the capitals, and you find out when you need an ampersand. Spend the minute on the preview at full size — it is where you find out whether bleed was the description or the aspiration.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
