About Draevorn
We put Draevorn on the Decorative and Dingbat Fonts shelf because album cover font is the kind of thing people come here looking for, and this one answers it without a detour. The save count is still small at 4, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. The buyers who left a word rate it 5.0 out of 5 — 1 review, all of them on the listing. Credit goes to BILLI.
Check which characters really exist: decorative sets often stop at the capitals, and you find out when you need an ampersand. We keep it filed mentally under alternative font, which is the use that needs the least adjusting afterwards. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every font on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.
The words on the listing are ancient font, apparel font, blackletter and blackletter font, and they are worth reading as a description rather than as tags. You will find it among the decorative and dingbat fonts, sorted next to everything that does roughly the same job. We track what people actually type before they land here: blackletter font pairing, cinzel decorative font pairing, decorative script fonts, modern blackletter fonts and monogram fonts for cricut. If that is roughly what you were after, this font is in the right family. The same shelf also answers to decorative, dingbat, colorful, colour and ornament, so widen the search there before giving up on it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
