About Dottanova
The reason Dottanova is here is bold font and nothing else. It does not try to cover the next three jobs along, and we would rather it did not. Credit goes to Joni type. Buyers put it at 5.0 out of 5 over 1 review; worth clicking through to see what they actually said. The save count is still small at 15, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.
Put it to work on bold typography first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. Check which characters really exist: decorative sets often stop at the capitals, and you find out when you need an ampersand. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether bold font is really what you are getting.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
