About Dark Summer
This is the one we reach for when the request is 4th of july. Dark Summer keeps it simple, which is why it sits here rather than in the reserve pile. yogaletter6 made it. The buyers who left a word rate it 5.0 out of 5 — 1 review, all of them on the listing. The save count is still small at 5, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus.
Put it to work on christmas first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. A decorative face carries one word, maybe two. If you are tempted to set a whole headline in it, set it in the preview first and see what happens. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
