About Crovane

The reason Crovane is here is album cover font and nothing else. It does not try to cover the next three jobs along, and we would rather it did not. The save count is still small at 7, so read this as our opinion and not a consensus. Buyers put it at 5.0 out of 5 over 1 review; worth clicking through to see what they actually said. It comes from Colourful.

A decorative face carries one word, maybe two. Set the headline you actually want in the preview before deciding it carries more. If you want one use for it, take band font: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. Before downloading, give the preview a full-size look and read the licence tab — two clicks, and they answer most of what the listing leaves unsaid.

Type blackletter font, blackletter typeface, bold gothic font and dark font into the search above and this one comes back — the same font under four different habits of phrasing. We track what people actually type before they land here: blackletter font pairing, cinzel decorative font pairing, decorative script fonts, modern blackletter fonts and monogram fonts for cricut. If that is roughly what you were after, this font is in the right family. On this site it lives on the Decorative and Dingbat Fonts shelf, so it also turns up for people browsing decorative and dingbat fonts rather than searching for it by name. People after this usually search decorative, dingbat, colorful, colour and ornament too, and the shelf is sorted so those all land in the same place.

How to use this font

  1. Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
  2. Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
  3. Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
  4. Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
