About Cila
Cila is our all caps font pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. 1 save means nobody has tested it for you. We still think it holds up. Credit goes to Bluebird. Buyers put it at 5.0 out of 5 over 1 review; worth clicking through to see what they actually said.
A decorative face carries one word, maybe two. If you are tempted to set a whole headline in it, set it in the preview first and see what happens. Put it to work on branding font first. If it survives that, it will survive whatever you had in mind next. We check two things before any download like this: the preview at full size, and whether the licence covers what you plan to do with it.
The listing files it under canva font, commercial use, craft font and cricut font — those are the words it gets found by, and between them they describe the file better than any category name does. The wording people arrive with is blackletter font pairing, cinzel decorative font pairing, decorative script fonts, modern blackletter fonts and monogram fonts for cricut, and we would rather shelve for those requests than for how a thumbnail looks in a grid. People after this usually search decorative, dingbat, blackletter, colorful and colour too, and the shelf is sorted so those all land in the same place. We filed it under Decorative and Dingbat Fonts for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
