About Candy Cane
What we like about Candy Cane is how little it tries to be everything — it does candy font, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Decorative and Dingbat Fonts shelf. The buyers who left a word rate it 5.0 out of 5 — 1 review, all of them on the listing. turz74347 is the name on the listing. Only 5 people have saved it so far, so this is our pick rather than the crowd's.
The obvious job for it is candy cane letters, and obvious is right here — the file was built around that and it shows. Check which characters really exist: decorative sets often stop at the capitals, and you find out when you need an ampersand. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether candy font is really what you are getting.
Filed as candy cane font, christmas font, christmas letters and festive font. Tags are a rough instrument, but a consistent set like that usually means the file is what it claims. What this shelf gets asked for is blackletter font pairing, cinzel decorative font pairing, decorative script fonts, modern blackletter fonts and monogram fonts for cricut. That list is why these files are here and not some prettier ones. If none of this quite fits, the adjacent requests are decorative, dingbat, blackletter, colorful and colour and they stay on this page. Its home here is Decorative and Dingbat Fonts — open that shelf if you would rather compare a few before choosing.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
