About Brown Carolina Duo
What we like about Brown Carolina Duo is how little it tries to be everything — it does beautiful fonts, and that is the job we wanted filled on the Decorative and Dingbat Fonts shelf. Buyers put it at 5.0 out of 5 over 10 reviews; worth clicking through to see what they actually said. The save count is at zero, so there is nothing to lean on but the preview and our reading of it.
If you want one use for it, take beauty fonts: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. Check which characters really exist: decorative sets often stop at the capitals, and you find out when you need an ampersand. The score is good enough that the risk is small. We would still look at the preview full size and read the licence tab before using it for anything we sell.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
