About Blitch
If blackletter calligraphy is what you came for, start here — Blitch is the plainest reading of that request on the Decorative and Dingbat Fonts shelf. The listing shows 5.0 out of 5 on 6 reviews, which is better evidence than the thumbnail. Plenty of people got here before us: 280 of them saved it. Credit goes to Whymore.
A decorative face carries one word, maybe two. Set the headline you actually want in the preview before deciding it carries more. Our own plan for it is blackletter font, because that is where this kind of font does the least arguing with you. The reviews have done the testing for you; the preview is all that is left to check.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
