About Blade Gothic
Blade Gothic is our alternative font pick, and it is a pick rather than a default — we looked at the shelf twice before leaving it on. BILLI is the name on the listing. 5.0 out of 5 from 1 review — a small sample, but it is the sample there is. It sits at 17 saves — too few to call it popular, which is exactly why it is worth a look before everyone else finds it.
Check which characters really exist: decorative sets often stop at the capitals, and you find out when you need an ampersand. If you want one use for it, take band font: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. One thing we always do and you should too: open the preview full size. A thumbnail hides exactly the detail that decides whether alternative font is really what you are getting.
If you came in looking for blackletter font, blackletter logo, blackletter logo font and blackletter typeface, you are in the right place — the listing carries all of those, which is the clearest sign the designer built it for that job rather than retitled it afterwards. Nearby you will see decorative, dingbat, colorful, colour and ornament, which is where to go if this one is nearly right but not quite. We filed it under Decorative and Dingbat Fonts for the obvious reason, and the shelf is small enough to read end to end. We track what people actually type before they land here: blackletter font pairing, cinzel decorative font pairing, decorative script fonts, modern blackletter fonts and monogram fonts for cricut. If that is roughly what you were after, this font is in the right family.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
