About Black Cat Spider Monogram
This is the one we reach for when the request is black cat monogram. Black Cat Spider Monogram keeps it simple, which is why it sits here rather than in the reserve pile. It stands at 5.0 out of 5 across 2 reviews, and we read the low scores first when there are any. The save count sits at 133, and a number that size usually means the file does what its preview promises. It is fontbrand19's work.
If you want one use for it, take fontbrand19: that is the direction the designer clearly had in mind, and it is the one we would follow. A decorative face carries one word, maybe two. If you are tempted to set a whole headline in it, set it in the preview first and see what happens. Open it big before you commit. At thumbnail size every font on this shelf looks equally good, which is the problem with thumbnails.

How to use this font
- Download the font from Creative Fabrica and unzip it — you normally get OTF and TTF of the same face, plus a licence file.
- Install the OTF if your software gives you the choice: it carries the alternates and ligatures that make a script face look handwritten.
- Restart the app you design in — Canva, Photoshop, Cricut Design Space and Word all read the font list once, at launch.
- Read the licence before a paid job: personal and commercial use are priced apart, and a logo often needs the extended one.
